Why Etiquette?

I have been a full-time employee for about 5 years now. While I am happy with my day job but it has always been a dream to open my own business. I was kind of dreaming about it since my first year in the company that I have been working for, but somehow I never got the time to go about doing it. So in 2015, my resolution is to make it happen. I finally launched the online shop called Etiquette in January this year.

It hasn’t been easy, but I am determined to make this work. The most important thing is… I don’t want to open just any online business; I want to open one that can be a help for other people too… so I decided to open Etiquette and donate some of the profits to a charity.

It’s been about a month since I first launched the shoppe, mainly through Instagram and it has never been easy. After all, I have a day job and I am not a celebrity where I have thousands of followers…
So I started it through word-of-mouth and mostly through believing in the products that I sell. I wear all the necklaces I sell. After all, I hand-picked every single one of them and I quality checked each and every one.

My husband is also one of the biggest supporters, he helped me photographing all the products every night, and he helped me pick up stuff like envelopes for shipping, decorative items for our marketing booth… I am very grateful for him.

Anyway, it’s just a little glimpse of our lives with Etiquette around now ☺ Thanks for all your support, ladies! Keep the order coming!

PS: We are going to be in Chijmes on Valentine’s day for LAWN BAZAAR – starts at 5:00pm till 11:00pm – free entry. Visit out booth on Saturday, 14 Feb 2015 in CHIJMES, City Hall (Nearest MRT).

For those who are curious about what the founder of Etiquette looks like... here you go, I am also modeling my own statement necklace.

The necklace I wore here is called "Lentera", it costs SGD 33 including the shipping cost with regular postage within Singapore. You can order this by emailing me or whatsapping me, or you can also drop by during the LAWN BAZAAR at Chijmes.

I will be there with my husband. Say hi to us and maybe we can even hang out!

Cheers,

Ditje
